Atlanta Sports Hall of Fame Displays on Location

On February 27, 2006, the Atlanta Sports Hall of Fame unveiled its first display at the Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. The display highlights the careers and accomplishments of its inaugural class of six inductees.

Items on display include: a photograph of Hank Aaron’s 715th home run, the Bobby Dodd Trophy, a 1959 Sports Illustrated with Bobby Jones on the cover, pictures and cards of Dominique Wilkins, a 1965 Life magazine with Tommy Nobis on the cover, and a collage of items celebrating Bobby Cox’s 14 straight division titles.

The display is free and open to the public. It is located in the Airport Atrium (before going through security) by the food court.
